Program Support Officer

 Independent Living Assessment (iLA) is for-purpose organisation with a focus on empowering people living within the Australian community, to increase their knowledge and take steps towards maintaining their independence at home and in their community. 

Operating across the broader community sector, iLA currently delivers Regional Assessment Service, National Village Hubs Grants Program, and a range of digital-first initiatives including LiveUp, KeepAble Sector Support & Development, and AT Chat navigation and peer mentoring program.

The Role 

As a Program Support Officer at iLA, you will be an integral part of our operations team, providing administrative support to our programs and multidisciplinary team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a dynamic organisation in making a difference in people lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering and managing phone calls and emails, ensuring timely response to emails and addressing telephone inquiries with a high level of customer service.
  • Preparation of correspondence using Microsoft Suite
  • CRM data entry, document uploads, and client correspondence.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments in Xero accounting software.
  • Recording feedback in CRM
  • Coordinate internal events and meeting calendars.
  • Take minutes during meetings to ensure effective communication.

About You 

The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of General Administration. In particular, the Program Support Officer will:

  • Experience providing administrative support to busy teams in a fast paced, changing environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
  • Strong technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate multiple technology systems. 
  • A team player with a strong customer service focus and the ability to work autonomously and under direction as required.
