This interdisciplinary book provides an introduction to the international growth in reablement policies and practices in aged care over the past 20 years.
Incorporating theoretical and evidence-based research, it considers benefits for clients and care workers, cost-saving potentials and reablement provision for people with dementia. The book reflects on key findings, challenges and the way forward for long-term care for older people.
