THE ROLE 

The Customer Support Officer provides customer service, intake, scheduling and administrative support to the Single Aged Care Assessment Services team, helping coordinate assessments and deliver a positive customer experience.

The role also provides administrative support to the team by maintaining accurate data management and supporting the day-to-day administrative operations across the service.

  • Deliver timely, professional customer service across calls, emails and referrals.
  • Complete the intake and scheduling of aged care assessments, and act as a key contact for customers, carers, assessors and providers.
  • Use inclusive, culturally responsive practices when supporting diverse and vulnerable customers.
  • Maintain accurate records across systems and support intake, scheduling and reporting processes.
  • Monitor shared inboxes, customer feedback and service documentation to support smooth operations.
  • Provide general administrative support, including reports, meeting support and backup reception as needed.

THE CANDIDATE 

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Confidence using digital systems and maintaining accurate records and data.
  • Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A customer-focused, collaborative and values-led approach.
  • Previous operational and system experience including CRM, portal, scheduling and/or invoicing.
  • MAC experience (preferred)
