Program Support Officer

Independent Living Assessment (iLA) was established in January 2020 by Indigo Australasia Incorporated (formerly Independent Living Centre WA). iLA's purpose is to enhance health and well-being by connecting the community with trusted knowledge and expertise with a focus on supporting people through assessment, navigation, and sector capacity building initiatives.
The Role
We are seeking to engage a Program Support Officer (PSO) to support our Regional Assessment Services (RAS) Team who complete assessments with older people seeking to access the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
This role is pivotal to RAS operations, delivering support flexibly to both RAS Intake and Assessor Teams in accordance with our business needs. The role will be responsible to:
- Delivering a high level of customer service when managing client enquiries and performing a variety of administrative and data entry functions.
- Communicating effectively with customers and others both verbally and in writing.
- Working as a key member of a team responsible for managing and maintaining data bases and team operations schedules.
- Performing general office duties and assigned tasks which support business operations.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will enjoy working with people and deliver to clients’ excellent customer service. They will positively contribute to business outcomes, have excellent verbal and written communication, office administration, data entry and time management skills. The candidate will be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative and have an ability to deliver to deadlines. They will enjoy and be able to work effectively as a team member and autonomously as required.
