Independent Living Assessment (iLA) is a for-purpose organisation with a focus on empowering people living within the Australian community to increase their knowledge and take steps towards maintaining their independence at home and in their community. Operating across the broader community sector, iLA currently delivers Regional Assessment Service, and a range of digital-first initiatives including LiveUp, KeepAble Sector Support & Development, CAEP Plus and AT Chat navigation and peer mentoring programs.
The Role
Working with the KeepAble Project Lead the Content Creator will be responsible for creating concise and engaging content in line with the KeepAble expansion project’s strategy and content roadmap.
This position will work alongside clinical experts to translate documents into digestible content that is factually accurate and meets regulatory standards while meeting the needs of the audience.
Key Tasks will include:
- Writing and reviewing content from an SEO perspective
- Publishing and managing web content on WordPress CMS
- Designing printed and digital materials
- Understand the importance of voice, tone, and branding to evolve and maintain quality content production guidelines.
- Produce professional and engaging written copy across formats
- Collaborating with the KeepAble team to shape future content strategies
- Consulting clinical experts to ensure KeepAble content adheres to best practices and compliance standards.
About You
We are seeking a passionate, proactive and creative candidate with previous experience in content creation, exceptional written skills and a keen eye for writing for a diverse range of audiences.
We are looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience in content writing
- Experience in reviewing and editing content for quality and accuracy
- Experience with WordPress
- An ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Adobe Creative Cloud experience and an eye for design will be highly regarded
- Experience or knowledge within the Aged Care and Disability space desirable but not essential
