Allied Health – Content Developer 

  • Part-time – 0.8FTE (4 days/week)

Independent Living Assessment (iLA) is a for-purpose organisation with a focus on empowering people living within the Australian community to increase their knowledge and take steps towards maintaining their independence at home and in their community.  Operating across the broader community sector, iLA currently delivers Regional Assessment Service, and a range of digital-first initiatives including LiveUp, KeepAble Sector Support & Development, CAEP Plus and AT Chat navigation and peer mentoring programs. 

 

The Role 

Working with the KeepAble Project Lead the Allied Health - Content Developer will be responsible for supporting the expansion of the KeepAble program with evidence-based content while ensuring adherence to clinical government standards. 

Drawing upon experience within the Allied Health and Aged Care sectors, the Allied Health Content Developer will communicate with content creators and allied health professionals to develop up to date content and resources that are embedded with wellness and reablement principles. 

Key Tasks will include: 

  • Assisting in the growth and development of iLA’s Wellness and Reablement Digital platform - KeepAble 
  • Communicate allied health and aged care knowledge into an accessible and engaging form for a diverse range of audiences 
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop resources ranging from e-learning modules, video, audio and written content 
  • Pitch ideas and assist in the early stages of content development  
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of reforms within the aged care sector 
  • Engaging with stakeholders 
  • Maintain effective and clear communication within the team 

 

About You 

We are seeking a passionate individual with extensive knowledge of the Allied Heath and Aged Care sectors that excels in communication. The ideal candidate will have an interest or experience in the development of resources with the intent to educate and inform. 

We are looking for: 

  • Degree or certification within an Allied Health or Aged Care field 
  • 3 years' experience within a similar role or industry 
  • Knowledge of wellness and reablement principles and their application within the aged care sector 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills 
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders 
  • An ability to relay digestible information to a wide range of audiences 
  • Experience in developing educational resources
